Grease should be the word, right?  Rob hosted a Grease/Greece party this past Saturday, and we all had a rockin’ good time – check out some of the cast!!

L-R:  Pink Lady Blonde Janet, Amy, Rydell Coach Lenny, T-Birds Jeff & Dan, Pink Lady Laura, Sandy (aka Estelle), & Diana

While Grease IS the word, a better word comes to mind…HARMONY.  Like the song says, “You’re YOU, I’m ME, together we can live in harmony.”  We have enlarged this dancing community, and with more people comes more potential problems.  We are all human and we all have our own baggage.  It’s tricky to deal with our own “stuff”, much less others’…and yet we must, to a point, in order to get along.  Please, I encourage you:  be yourself, and allow others to be themselves…and play nicely!  Let’s ALL work on keeping our gatherings fun and drama-free.

Our weekend opportunities to do so:

  • Friday 9/20 at Cadillac Ranch I’ll be teaching 2 oldies but goodies, EARTHQUAKE & SHOTGUN.  Hope to see you there!
  • Saturday 9/21 at Warrenville’s Art On The Prairie Festival, we’ll be dancing from 10:30 – 11:00 am (Estelle will lead) and 3:00 – 3:30 pm (I will lead).  We’ll meet at the parking lot near the gazebo at the corner of Manning & Warren Avenues.  The playlists are as follows:

It’a another busy dance weekend…ENJOY!  And remember, please…the word is HARMONY!  We can do it!  I’ll see you on the dance floor.
