In case you haven’t heard, Tequila Roadhouse has closed its doors. I received the call a couple of days ago. The manager, Dominic, said we are a wonderful group and very friendly; we were the only group that had been with them from the beginning to the end. It was our honor to do so, and we will miss this venue. It’s too bad that not all businesses survive…

We have added a new venue, Heart & Sole Dance Studio, which is where my daughter Katie and Prince Eli teach. We will be dancing there TONIGHT from 7-10,  and are planning on BRIDGE dances there on the first Friday of the month. Their studio has a new location near the intersection of 355 and 80 (1691 New Lenox Road, Joliet, Illinois 60433). Please join us on their 3000 sq ft silky smooth WOOD floor! I’ll be calling line dances as well as couples; there’s plenty of room for ALL of us to dance to EVERY song. BYOB!

Next Saturday the 14th we’ve been invited to return to BALLROOM CITY (207 S. Villa Ave. #250 Villa Park, IL) for a combination line & couples dance from 8-11 pm. I’ll be teaching a line dance lesson from 7:30 to 8. Admission is $10 and snacks are provided. The floating floor is absolutely MARVELOUS!!

Our BRIDGE dances resume at the Geneva American Legion (22 S 2nd St, Geneva, IL 60134) on the third Friday of this month from 7-10. Fermilab will not meet in September but will be back on the 4th Saturday in October, as regularly scheduled. It’s wonderful that we are still regularly dancing at these venues which have beautiful WOOD floors!

Our FALL SCHEDULE of classes has kicked off as of this week. New classes start at ALL the park districts. You can get a full list of classes at
