Even though tomorrow never comes, when tomorrow becomes today, you’ll be glad to know what’s going on!

Diva the Dancing Dog was popular with the kids at the Wheaton Holiday Parade last Friday, and she’s sure to be a hit again tomorrow at Warrenville’s Holly Days festival from 6 – 8 pm.

**Due to the cold weather predicted, the event has been moved indoors and will be held in the Rec Center’s BIG GYM, 3S260 Warren Avenue in Warrenville.**

Santa will hold court in the Mulit-Purpose Room in the same building, and various performances will occur in the gym…among them, LINE DANCING from 7:30 – 7:45.  Since we’ll be inside, no coats are necessary; please wear holiday colors though (red, green, blue, white, or black).

Our playlist will include:

  • Blue Note to Run Run Rudolph (start facing the back wall)
  • I Love A Rainy Night to Baby Please Come Home
  • Come Dance With Me to Jingle Bell Rock
  • Baby Likes to Rock It to Santa Claus Is Coming in a Boogie Woogie Choo Choo Train (start in contra, shoulder to shoulder)
  • Electric Slide to Frosty the Snowman

We will rehearse at 6:30 in room 301, the upstairs dance studio in the Rec Center (the same building in which we will be performing).  If you are free to show off this dancing passion which we all love, please come join us!!

I’ll be at Cadillac Ranch for lessons after this performance.  Friday’s lessons will be at 8:30 (Funky Slide) and 9:30 (Cowboy Up) ONLY FOR TOMORROW.

See you on the dance floor!!

Janet Kruse
