It really is spring!!! The grass is green and long enough to be mowed, the birds are building nests with the dog fur in the yard, and I haven’t used my down coat in over a week!!!!!!! Woohoo! And further proof – show season is here!
We’re kicking off dance performances with IMELDA’S WAY/CUT A RUG this Saturday at Hubble Middle School at 3S600 Herrick Rd, Warrenville at the 1:00 Spring Recital. Please come join the fun! Peggy & Courtney will be leading you, as I will be competing in Virginia with the Country Cruisers Dance Team (yikes!). Call is at NOON in the auditorium. We will dance both dances as a split floor if we have enough dancers; that will get worked out when you arrive. Peg & Courtney will arrange everyone and rehearse the number(s) and everything will be FINE.
DRESS CODE IS SOLID SHIRTS (DANCE WITH JANET SHIRTS IF YOU HAVE THEM, please) AND BLACK BOTTOMS. This supersedes the previous request of blue jeans. Black bottoms would look better as this is a semi-fancy show (the whole dance program through Warrenville Park District will be featured).
Our next performance will be Carol Stream’s Just Play at 11:30 Saturday, May 17th; see http://justplay.org/ for more info. You are ALL invited to dance! DWJ shirts are requested, otherwise, wear whatever is comfortable, and Culver’s is on me afterwards. Please save the date!!
Are you ready? I’m set…let’s show off!
See you on the dance floor!
