Just recently I was told, “Promises are broken all time.” My immediate thought was, “Not in my world.” I understand that things go wrong, but I aim to be a responsible, dependable, person whose word can be trusted. Otherwise, what’s the point of talking or being in any kind of relationship at all? What good are communications that have no integrity in them, where we feel we don’t have to do what we say we will do?
That said, I understand things go wrong, and circumstances change. Just recently, we had a cancellation for the Dance With Janet Cruise due to a family emergency. Whatcha gonna do? Life happens. (By the way, if you are female and would like to sail on the cruise but need a roommate, here’s your chance – we have a spot now open at the original group rate. Contact me for more info.) My point is that we should mean what we say, do what we say, and thus be honorable in our dealings with each other. That’s what makes the world go ’round.
Thank you all for your encouraging words & amazing support during this rough time in my life. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such a wonderful, caring group of people. See you tomorrow at the Warrenville dance! I’ll be teaching ISLAND SONG ay 7:30 & WE ARE TONIGHT at 8:30. I’ll also be at Cadillac Ranch tonight. Curious as to how much fun we have when we’re together? Check out the photos on my website, and come join the fun!
