One of the most important things to do in life – albeit one of the hardest – is to pick yourself up after a disappointment and try again.  There’s nothing like feeling on display, and knowing people are watching to see if I at least attempt to do what I encourage others to do…so here we go!  Jeff and I brought in a new foster dog yesterday, Kash.  He’s an older gent looking for a permanent home; you can read more about him at http://www.adoptahusky.com/available/IL_WI/2487_Kash.htm.  The rewards of opening up our hearts to another dog definitely outweigh the challenges.  Like Gary Allan sings, “every storm runs out of rain.”  I’m not sure the rain has run out, but it’s definitely receding.  And I thank you all for your supportive words about the loss of Sophie…you’ve helped considerably.
