Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Here we go for another holiday during covid; let’s see how “normal” it can be!  I’m not holding my breath for a big party, but I am taking *most* of Monday off.  It’s good to know some organizations that are still working are closed for Labor Day, so I’ll take that little slice of regular living…and I’ll still see you on Monday evening for Intermediate lessons, although we won’t be learning anything brand new.  If you need to dance, though, I’ll be around!  As always, sign up for virtual lessons at www.dancewithjanet.com/virtual.

UPDATES about which you should know:

  1. INTERMEDIATE 1 class moves to Wheaton on Thursdays (5:30 – 7:00 pm) and a new BEGINNER 2 Thursday class starts after it (7:15 – 8:45), effective this week, 9/10.  Contact me to receive the address, as we are meeting at a private residence.  You do not need to pre-register.
  2. Also, BEGINNER 1, BEGINNER 2 (IMPROVER), & INTERMEDIATE 1 IN-PERSON Inside Line Dance Classes resume after Labor Day at the following Park Districts (other Beginner 2 & Intermediate groups meet at alternate locations):
  • Bloomingdale (B1, taught by Cathy)
  • Butterfield (B1-2, taught by Karen)
  • Darien (B1, taught by Betsy)
  • Glendale Heights (B1, instructor not finalized)
  • Hoffman Estates (B1, taught by Cathy)
  • Warrenville (Easy I1, taught by Janet)
  • West Chicago (B1, instructor not finalized)
  • Wheaton (B1 – various instructors & B2 – taught by Cathy on Mondays & Karen on Wednesdays)

Mask Policy:  Masks are optional in the DWJ world.  When we dance inside, it’s with limited attendance in a big space so we can be adequately spaced apart and comfortably line dance without masks.  During classes in Park Districts, that rule applies also, but masks are required in common areas.  Additionally, Wheaton Park District requires masks the entire time we are in one of their facilities, even when we’re dancing.

Keep taking your vitamins & getting your rest!  I’m praying for you all the time!

Love ya!
