Thank you all, so very very much, for a super duper Christmas weekend! It was wonderful to dance to holiday music – and a little hard on the brain, sometimes! We don’t normally realize how automatically we dance to songs we recognize – it can be done to other music, but boy do you have to concentrate! Sixteen people (plus Diva!) danced in Warrenville’s Holly Days Festival on Saturday; here we are dancing “Come Dance With Me” to Rascal Flatts’ Jingle Bell Rock:
And over seventy of us danced at the Warrenville Christmas dance on Saturday! Take a look at “Dizzy” done to Taylor Swift’s Last Christmas:

I hope to see you out dancing more this month; I’m sure you’ll hear these and other seasonal songs sprinkled into the normal mix of music for the rest of December. Christmas will be here before you know it, so we may as well enjoy the tunes while we can!
Additionally, Bob and Denise Boyle are hosting their Open Line Dance this Saturday, December 14th from 7-10 pm, at Maine East High School gym. I’ll be attending – feel free to join me for yet another field trip! I like the variety of dancing at other venues, and since I have a hole in my schedule (imagine that!!), I’m going! And – Wayne Jensen will be celebrating a very special birthday that night, so let’s have our cake and eat it too!! Maine East is located at 2601 Dempster Street in Park Ridge, IL.
Thank you again to my danceaholic friends from Friday!
