Happy Thursday to You and Yours!!
My heart goes out to the Jenkinses in the loss of Diana, and to the people impacted by Hurricane Sandy. What an unpredictable world we live in..
On a brighter note, there’s a lot going on this weekend that is not quite as somber, so I thought I’d let you know.
Years ago, we had to drive an hour to the only place around where our kids could dance. What a pain that was! Then we discovered that Randy & Mary Love allowed kids too; so we started bringing the whole family to their Oswego dances (which is still a valid option; contact Mary at firstname.lastname@example.org to get on her mailing list & get her dance schedule). NOW, though…our Warrenville dances are kid-friendly (we have one THIS SATURDAY EVENING – at a DIFFERENT LOCATION, see below) and Cadillac Ranch has brought back FAMILY DAYS (visit the Upcoming Events page for the flyer), which is THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON – and your $10 admission gets you into the Sunday Stampede for FREE! I’ll be teaching lessons at both events and hope to see you there.
Additionally, two new sessions of classes begin this week, both in Warrenville (call 630-393-7279 to register):
– Gary’s East Coast Swing class begins THIS TUESDAY EVENING 11/6 from 7:15 -8:30pm
– My Beginner 1 Line Dance class begins THIS THURSDAY MORNING 11/8 from 9:00-10:15am
SO MANY OPTIONS!! Let’s hear it for Country Dancing!!!!!
See you on the dance floor –
