My favorite book of all time is Spencer Johnson’s, Who Moved My Cheese.  It’s a story of dealing with change.  I’ve read it to my daughters as a bedtime story in 45 minutes flat.  Change is in the air…it’s everywhere.  Look at this picture of me riding on the back of a motorcycle on the highway!  Anyone who knows me realizes that scenario just isn’t “normal”…it’s a change.  It’s a HUGE change!

I don’t like to be bored, but I’ll confess to being afraid of change, to a point.  The unknown is exciting and scary at the same time.  But I am blessed, as you are, to have people around with whom I can talk things through (you know who you are).  You have all helped me immeasurably and I pray that I remain open to your counsel so that can continue.  I encourage you to go to your trusted few – they are there, really! – when the winds of change blow your way, and take comfort in their words of wisdom.  We are all known by a few certain people, and those people are the ones God speaks through to get us through the tough times.

Hang in there!  Change is in the air; it’s inevitable.  The winds are blowing!  But you will survive.  You will!
