What a week!   Not only did I celebrate a birthday this past weekend, but our condo went under contract as well!  It has been a busy, busy few days, and a lot of arrangements have been made.  I’ll be moving in with a dance friend in the southern Chicagoland suburbs in mid-November.  It looks like very few in-person classes of mine will be affected, which is a relief.

However, I’ve got even BIGGER news!  As you know, the DWJ instructors are back to teaching in-person classes.  A new chunk (aka session) begins the first week of November.  I realized you may not know the other members of my team, so I asked them to film themselves teaching a beginner line dance – and a bunch of them agreed!  So starting on NEXT WEDNESDAY, October 21st, you’ll be able to sign up to receive 10 days of videos, and learn 10 new line dances to boot!  Stay tuned for more info!

Those of you who dance with me know the schedule, so I’ll make this email more concise by only focusing on any changes.  Links to virtual & in-person classes & dances are on www.dancewithjanet.com, as is the DWJ calendar.  Items of note:

DWJ In-Person Mask Policy:  Masks are optional.  When we dance inside, it’s with limited attendance in a big space so we can be adequately spaced apart and comfortably line dance without masks.  During classes in Park Districts, that rule applies also, but masks are required in common areas.  Additionally, Bloomingdale & Wheaton Park Districts requires masks the entire time we are in one of their facilities, even when we’re dancing.

As always, sign up for virtual lessons at www.dancewithjanet.com/virtual by 7 pm for Monday & Wednesday’s 7 pm classes.  I continue to look forward to dancing with you!

Love ya!
Janet
